    System requirements

    Core system

The core system contains the website and the database. Since it is source code only, it is cross-platform. You need PostgreSQL database server with PHP 5 support and additional installed modules. Check the readme file in source.zip for further informations and instructions.

Windows installer package and portable version

The system was built on a Windows XP Service Pack 3 x86 (32 bit) system, so this is considered to be the minimum system requirement to run NIS. The installer package was also tested on Windows 7 Professional x64 (64 bit) and Windows 10 Professional x86 (32 bit) system. In general: NIS should work on all Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later systems.
