What's new in the current alpha version of NIS (v0.9.11.0a):

• First of all we added a quick search module for the start page. By default, you can search in the following lists (you can add more by editing the include/contents.php file):
• projects,
• products,
• articles and
• documents.
• Forum modules (product, project and articles) are more effective as they use AJAX by default.
• General code revision on both frontend and backend. A massive part of the old, procedural modules have been deprecated and replaced by PHP classes. Thus, the code became more robust and easily editable.
• Many bugs have been fixed.

Feel free to download the system for testing. Please note the system is still in alpha stage, which means it's not fully functional yet; a lot of important features are still missing and a few errors may still occur when using the system. Use with caution.

Forgotten password email module finished!

Forgotten password email module finished! The new module works on both frontend and backend system. Now you can generate a temporary password with expiration time and send it to the email address used in your account when you lose your password. This temporary password will let you in your account to change your old password. Feel free to download and test the system!

Please note the system is still in alpha stage and is recommended for testing purposes only. stability is not yet guaranteed, however we are trying to resolve all issues as soon as we become aware of them. Additional improvements will be implemented progressively when they are needed.

Improved responsive design for web GUI

Improved responsive design for NIS web GUI is now released for testing in version 0.9.9.56a. The main changes take effect on the frontend currently, including the following modules:

• the login panel and main menu in the header,
• the main page, where articles and current offers appear,
• the listing modules of projects, products, articles and documents,
• the project and product pages and more.

Thus, the frontend system will look better now on mobile devices and will be easier to use. Feel free to download and test the system!

NIS updater enabled for installer package

The upgrader feature for the installer package of NIS is now enabled as an experiment! Please read the instructions on the Download page carefully before upgrading your current installation.

Please note that the system is still in alpha stage and it is under heavy development. Thus, you should use it for testing purposes only!

Public alpha test started!
